About the Role

As a Lead Teacher at Great Beginnings Preschool, you will have a unique opportunity to positively impact the lives of young children in a safe, nurturing, and Christian faith-based environment. You will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans that promote the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development of children in your care.

You will work collaboratively with assistant teachers to create a fun and engaging learning environment that sparks children's imagination and builds their self-esteem. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean classroom that meets company and state licensing standards.

As a Christian faith-based school, we seek individuals who share our values and are committed to promoting a positive image of the company while making it a provider of choice in educational programs for the communities we serve.

To be considered for this position, you must be at least 18 years of age, have at least a high school diploma or GED, and have a minimum of six months of experience in a licensed preschool facility. You must also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements

  • A minimum age of 18 years old for Lead Teacher positions is required.


  • A high school diploma or GED is required for Lead Teaching positions.



  • A minimum of six months experience in a licensed preschool facility for "Lead Teacher " positions.


  • Ability to teach young children Bible lessons with direction and assistance from the school.


  • The AZ Department of Economic Security requires all new hires receive nine separate online trainings that relate to the proper care of children in a preschool setting. The school will assign these mandatory trainings to all new staff to complete within 90 days of hire.


  • A strong faith-based life philosophy.


  • CPR/ First Aid certification must be obtained within six months of hire.


  • Fingerprint clearance card must be applied for prior to start date.


  • A clear TB (tuberculosis) test must be obtained prior to start date.
