Careful supervision, familiar routines, and clear expectations help children feel secure. We are intentional about safety, communication, and the structure of the day.
Teach

Through play, repetition, and gentle guidance, children practice language, early math, problem-solving, friendship, and independence. Expectations grow with each child’s age.
Serve
Caring for children. Supporting families.
Parents need clear information and routines they can count on. We work to support your family with thoughtful communication, steady processes, and a consistent approach to care.
The Great Beginnings story

Our story begins with Robert (Bob) Nedimyer, a youth pastor who later served as a police officer. His experiences brought compassion, protection, and guidance together in the heart of the school.
That same purpose continues to shape Great Beginnings Preschool & Childcare today.

A beginning built on faith
Bob opened the first preschool or daycare connected to what would become Great Beginnings. As the school grew, serving children through faith, structure, and care remained at its heart.
- 2011
A legacy of loving care
Bob went to be with the Lord in 2011. His legacy continues through the values he established and the continued leadership and oversight of his family and team.

Glendale and Goodyear each have their own classrooms and community, with a shared commitment to warm welcomes, purposeful routines, and our Christian mission.

Yes. Great Beginnings is a Christian preschool and childcare community. Faith shapes our approach to kindness, patience, character growth, and the way we care for children and partner with families.
How many campuses do you have?
We have two operating campuses: Glendale and Goodyear, Arizona. Families near Litchfield Park are welcome to visit our Goodyear campus.
