As a family-owned and operated organization devoted to the growth and protection of Arizona's children, Great Beginnings Preschool and Childcare knows the value of highly-trained teaching professionals and a dedicated administrative staff. 
 

A deep love for children within a safe environment is just the foundation from which we begin the building of your child's developmental experience. 

Our teaching staff at Great Beginnings Preschool and Childcare are not just adults with an interest in children. They encompass over nineteen years of academic-based committed experience in early child development. 

We collaborate with local churches and industry-based professionals to obtain highly-respected teachers in the field. 

 

 

 

 

 

The hiring process at Great Beginnings Preschool and Childcare:

  • Step 1 – Apply online.

  • Step 2 - Phone Screening: Designed to determine the applicant's experience and qualifications applicable to the position for which the applicant is applying.

  • Step 2 – Face-to-face meeting with the Preschool Director.

Applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications: 

  • A strong faith-based life philosophy.

  • CPR/ First Aid certification must be obtained within six months of hire.

  • Fingerprint clearance card must be applied for prior to start date.

  • A clear TB (tuberculosis) test must be obtained prior to start date.

​

To be considered for a teaching position you must meet the following additional requirements:

Lead Teacher Positions

  • A high school diploma or GED is required for Lead Teaching positions.

  • A minimum age of 18 years old for Lead Teacher positions is required.

  • A minimum of six months experience in a licensed preschool facility for "Lead Teacher " positions.

  • Ability to teach young children Bible lessons with direction and assistance from the school.

  • The AZ Department of Economic Security requires all new hires receive nine separate online trainings that relate to the proper care of children in a preschool setting. The school will assign these mandatory trainings to all new staff to complete within 90 days of hire.

Assistant Aide Positions

  • High school diplomas are not required for Assistant Aide positions that are still enrolled in high school.

  • A minimum age of 16 years old for Assistant Aide Teacher positions.

  • No experience required for Assistant Aide positions.

  • Ability to teach young children Bible lessons with direction and assistance from the school.

  • The AZ Department of Economic Security requires all new hires receive nine separate online trainings that relate to the proper care of children in a preschool setting. The school will assign these mandatory trainings to all new staff to complete within 90 days of hire.
