As the Assistant Director, you will collaborate closely with the School Director to ensure compliance with company and state licensing standards, while fostering the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in our care.

You will be responsible for creating an educational and nurturing atmosphere that encourages imagination, builds self-esteem, and helps children discover new things each day. Additionally, you will play a key role in recruiting, selecting, and retaining quality staff while ensuring the profitability of the company.

In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the safe and effective operation of the school, achieving Learning Care Group’s safety vision of “No One Gets Hurt.” You will also assist with a variety of administrative tasks and opening/closing the school at least 50% of the time.

To be considered for this position, you must be at least 21 years of age, have previous management experience, and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed child care facility. You must also meet state requirements for education, and additional center/school requirements may apply.

As a Lead Teacher at Great Beginnings Preschool, you will have a unique opportunity to positively impact the lives of young children in a safe, nurturing, and Christian faith-based environment. You will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans that promote the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development of children in your care.

You will work collaboratively with assistant teachers to create a fun and engaging learning environment that sparks children's imagination and builds their self-esteem. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean classroom that meets company and state licensing standards.

To be considered for this position, you must be at least 18 years of age, have at least a high school diploma or GED, and have a minimum of six months of experience in a licensed preschool facility. You must also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
