Care for the whole child

A place to belong.
A little more confidence.

Choosing childcare means thinking about the whole day: who will welcome your child, how they will be guided, and what they will experience while you are apart.

At Great Beginnings, Christian faith shapes those everyday relationships. Teachers model Christ-like kindness and help children practice empathy, gratitude, and responsibility. Play and early academics support growing minds while prayer and biblical lessons nurture their spiritual foundation.

We serve families from two Arizona campuses, in Glendale and Goodyear. You can choose the location that works for your family and talk with its team about your child’s needs.

  1. A reassuring arrival

Familiar faces, gentle guidance, and an inviting activity help children settle into the classroom.

  2. Play, learn & move

Stories, songs, hands-on projects, and outdoor movement give children ways to explore language, numbers, and friendships.

  3. Pause & recharge

Meal routines, rest, and calm transitions make space for care alongside learning. A prayer of thanks connects daily care with gratitude.

Faith in action every day

God’s love.
In ordinary moments.

Our care is explicitly Christ-centered. Children encounter prayer, worship songs, Bible stories, and scripture-based lessons in language they can understand.

Those lessons continue in everyday play: helping a friend, waiting for a turn, saying thank you, and learning to make things right after a disagreement.

How faith and early learning work together

Kindness children can see

Teachers model caring words and patient responses, showing children how to treat others with respect.

Guidance with grace

Positive guidance and clear expectations help children learn from mistakes. Forgiveness, encouragement, and practice are part of growing.

Curiosity about God’s creation

Hands-on activities connect wonder with learning. Children explore, ask questions, and practice caring for the world around them.

Faith and family working together

You know your child.
Let’s talk about care.

Parents are a child’s first teachers. Sharing what helps your child feel secure gives the campus team a starting point for conversations about drop-off, routines, and adjustment.

We share devotion themes, Bible memory verses, and home activities to connect faith-based learning with family life. Ask your teacher how to continue a classroom theme at home and how updates about your child are shared.

Practical answers about Christian care, ages, hours, and choosing a campus.

Choose a campus to visit
Where do you offer Christian childcare in Arizona?

Great Beginnings has two operating campuses: Glendale and Goodyear. Our Goodyear campus also welcomes families from nearby Litchfield Park.

What ages can attend Great Beginnings?

Our programs serve children ages 1–5: toddlers ages 1–2, preschool for three-year-olds, and pre-K for ages 4–5. Your campus team can help you discuss classroom placement and current availability.

What are your childcare hours?

Both campuses are open Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m., and closed Saturday and Sunday. Contact your preferred campus to discuss current attendance options and the care schedule your family needs.

What makes the childcare Christian?

Our care is centered on Jesus and God’s love. Prayer, Bible stories, worship songs, and biblical lessons connect with everyday opportunities to practice kindness, patience, forgiveness, and gratitude. Teachers guide these experiences in ways young children can understand.

How do childcare and preschool learning fit together?

Familiar care routines make room for hands-on learning, stories, songs, art, movement, meals, and rest. Children practice language, early math, friendships, and independence with guidance appropriate to their age.

Do families need to attend a particular church?

No. Families do not need to attend a particular church. We welcome families who are comfortable choosing a Christian preschool and childcare environment. A tour is a chance to discuss our beliefs and how faith fits into the classroom day.

How can we learn about tuition and enrollment?

Choose a Glendale or Goodyear tour and talk with that campus about your child’s age, care needs, tuition, and current openings. The campus team can explain enrollment steps and help you plan for the transition into care.
