About the Role
As a Teacher's Assistant at Great Beginnings Preschool, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of young children in a safe, nurturing, and Christian faith-based environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting the Lead Teacher in implementing engaging lesson plans that foster children's intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth.
Collaborating closely with other assistant teachers, you will contribute to the creation of a stimulating and enjoyable learning atmosphere that ignites children's imagination and boosts their self-confidence. Moreover, you will contribute to maintaining a clean and secure classroom that adheres to both company and state licensing standards.

To qualify for this position, you must be at least 16 years old and show a genuine interest in working with young children. A high school diploma is not required for Assistant Aide positions that are still enrolled in high school. Also, no prior experience is necessary for Assistant Aide positions, as we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
Additionally, as part of our commitment to quality care, the AZ Department of Economic Security requires nine essential online training modules for all new hires, addressing various aspects of preschool childcare. These trainings will be assigned to you within 90 days of your employment, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting the proper care of children in our preschool setting.

Requirements
A minimum age of 16 years old for Assistant Aide Teacher positions.
High school diplomas are not required for Assistant Aide positions that are still enrolled in high school.
No experience required for Assistant Aide positions.
Ability to teach young children Bible lessons with direction and assistance from the school.
The AZ Department of Economic Security requires all new hires receive nine separate online trainings that relate to the proper care of children in a preschool setting. The school will assign these mandatory trainings to all new staff to complete within 90 days of hire.
A strong faith-based life philosophy.
CPR/ First Aid certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
Fingerprint clearance card must be applied for prior to start date.
A clear TB (tuberculosis) test must be obtained prior to start date.
