Our programs build on each other while keeping learning hands-on and age appropriate. Use these age groups as a starting point, then discuss development, classroom placement, and openings with our Goodyear team.
Ages 1–2
Comfort and connection come first. Predictable routines, reassuring words, songs, and sensory play help toddlers feel secure as they begin to explore more independently.
Children practice movement and coordination, use gestures and early words, follow short routines, and begin playing alongside others. Simple reminders such as “God made you” introduce faith in familiar language.

Exploring textures and stacking objects leads to sorting, counting, making patterns, and working through more involved projects. Art and hands-on materials continue throughout the programs.
Playing alongside a friend develops into sharing materials, taking turns, cooperating, and solving small problems with teacher guidance. Children keep practicing how to name feelings and ask for help.
Simple routines such as washing hands and tidying a play area create practice for following directions, caring for belongings, and taking responsibility for classroom tasks.
Classroom placement
Age is a useful starting point, but your child’s routines, communication, confidence, and experience in group care also matter. Tell the Goodyear team about what your child enjoys, what feels new, and the support that helps at home.
